Tenute Navarra makes its debut at Taormina Gourmet.
A new engagement for Tenute Navarra, which will participate for the first time in the tenth edition of Taormina Gourmet from October 28 to 30, 2023, at Hotel Villa Diodoro. This is one of Southern Italy’s most important events dedicated to food & beverage excellence, carefully selected by Cronache di Gusto in collaboration with the various journalists attending the event. Specifically, seventy wineries will be featured at the tasting counter, including Tenute Navarra, with the following selections: Sofien, 2022 (Grillo – Chardonnay); Scurò, 2021 (Nero d’Avola); Maribu, 2022 (Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG). During the inaugural day of the event, Saturday, October 28, at 5:00 PM, Totò Navarra Junior—administrator of the Butera farm, founded in 2019 with his grandfather Totò Navarra Senior—will participate in a talk moderated by journalist Mario Barresi. Among the speakers will also be Oscar Farinetti, engaging in a dialogue with 10 young agricultural entrepreneurs.
«We are constantly seeking opportunities for meetings and discussions – states Totò Navarra Junior, administrator of Tenute Navarra – with other entrepreneurs because we believe that every story can inspire us and always has something to teach us. On Saturday, October 28, I will have the chance to speak with other young agricultural entrepreneurs and with a very important Italian entrepreneur, Oscar Farinetti, and I am very grateful for this opportunity. Tenute Navarra is a company founded in 2019, and therefore does not boast a long and consolidated history, but it is nonetheless built on solid foundations where we prioritize people, values related to work and family, and the respect and enhancement of the territory through organic and sustainable products. We are very attentive to these last two aspects. Over the past three years, we have worked on the organic conversion of our entire production, and regarding sustainability, for us, it is not only environmental but also social and governance-related.
Taormina Gourmet is an event that dedicates ample space to great wines, top chefs, and pizzaiolos. For these reasons, over 30 masterclasses, more than 30 cooking shows involving emerging chefs and master pizzaiolos, B2B meetings, and signature dinners are planned during its run to facilitate interaction among producers, national and international journalists, and industry professionals.
