Concours International de Lyon 2024
The 2022 Maribu, 2022 Allucià, and 2022 Sofien labels respectively achieved gold medals (Maribu and Allucià) and a silver medal (Sofien) at the Concours International de Lyon 2024.
A new and prestigious international recognition joins those obtained during 2023, which represented the debut year for Tenute Navarra. This journey began with the Gold Label award in the category for still red wine packaging with designation of origin and geographical indication for the 2022 and 2021 vintages, received during the 27th edition of the Vinitaly Design International Packaging Competition for the 2021 Sicilia DOC Nero D’Avola, “Scurò.” It continued with the Silver Medal at the Frankfurt International Trophy for MARIBU and the Bronze Medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2023. Furthermore, Tenute Navarra achieved high scores at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, The WineHunter Award “Rosso,” and 90, 91, and 93 points at the Falstaff Trophy Sizilien 2023, respectively for Maribu (Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG), Scurò (Nero d’Avola Sicilia DOC), and Battichiè (Nero d’Avola Riserva Sicilia DOC).
“We are very pleased,” states Totò Navarra Junior, administrator of Tenute Navarra, “with this new recognition that arrives just a few weeks before Vinitaly, an international fair where we will be present and during which we have decided to launch two new products. We are increasingly convinced that participating in national and international awards, competitions, and fairs is the best way to grow. These opportunities for comparison represent real chances for us to gain awareness of our product’s positioning, to forge bonds with key players in the sector, and to consolidate our presence in the key markets of Asia, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and the United States.”
