Tenute Navarra wins the Oscar Green award, promoted by Coldiretti Giovani Impresa, now in its eighteenth edition, which aims to highlight the work of many young people who have chosen agriculture for their future.
The initiative’s goal is to promote healthy agriculture in our country, showcasing the many innovative ideas of young farmers.
In the spirit of the competition, the entrepreneurial idea of young Totò Navarra was awarded for best combining tradition and innovation, presenting a virtuous project aimed at protecting and enriching the territory.
In particular, Tenute Navarra has once again distinguished itself for its focus on sustainability and innovation: it has demonstrated how the impact of the Butera farm follows a methodological approach increasingly aimed at reducing negative environmental, social, and governance impacts, and how it implements best practices to amplify and make positive impacts more tangible.
These include modern and sustainable agricultural practices, cutting-edge technologies, and governance increasingly oriented towards Wellbeing, Welfare, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Stakeholder Engagement.
Last but not least, the preview of the Resort that Tenute Navarra is preparing to host, a sensational and immersive place where a circular economy regime will be pursued.
“Being part of Generation Z and working in a young team represents a great opportunity to bring freshness and innovation to the agricultural sector,” states Totò Navarra Jr., Administrator of Tenute Navarra. He adds, “Oscar Green is not just an award, but an important platform for young Italian farmers. The synergy between innovation and tradition is key to addressing present and future challenges, making agriculture not just a profession, but a true mission for young people.”
