Tenute Navarra’s 2025 Harvest: Where Heritage Is Cultivated and the Future Is Reaped

Tenute Navarra is the agricultural enterprise of a Sicilian entrepreneurial family that, across three generations, has transformed a love for the land into a sustainable and innovative project founded on authenticity and deep roots. Led by Totò Navarra Junior, the company values human capital, regenerative agriculture, and a narrative that unites past and future. With the 2025 harvest approaching, Tenute Navarra presents itself as a model of a contemporary agricultural business, attentive to the environment, culture, and community.

Tenute Navarra is the story of a family, the Navarras, who through three generations have transformed their love for their land into an authentic, sustainable, and visionary agricultural enterprise. It all began with Totò Navarra Senior, born in 1951, who since he was a boy always had a very strong bond with the countryside, learning the silent language of the earth. Then came England, work in gardens, discipline, and an openness to the world. And finally, the return, with a powerful desire to give back to Sicily what he had received. After founding and managing family businesses in various sectors, he purchased an estate and, together with his grandson, gave life to what is today Tenute Navarra: not just a farm, but an idea for the future.

Tenute Navarra is a young yet deeply rooted agricultural company, founded in 2019 in the heart of southern Sicily, between the hinterland and the southern coast, in that “middle land” where nature tells a millennial story and vineyards intertwine with the scent of olive trees, almond trees, and Mediterranean fruits. A territory that becomes the stage for an entrepreneurial project inspired by the strength of three generations, each bringing a unique, complementary, and necessary vision.

“This land has given me so much. Returning to it,” states Totò Navarra Senior, “and cultivating it together with my grandson is a gift I never could have imagined. The vineyard is like a child: you care for it, you observe it, you guide it to maturity. Seeing Totò in the rows today, with the same love I had as a boy, fills me with pride.”

In the Sicilian landscape, Tenute Navarra represents a rare case: a family vision transformed into a business, where the past is never nostalgia, but a model for a contemporary agricultural enterprise. A project that focuses on human capital, authentic storytelling, consistency between words and images, and a complete idea of sustainability: environmental, social, economic, and cultural. Here, work is not just production: it is a cultural act, an experience of growth and relationship. A story that never ends, but renews itself, season after season, harvest after harvest.

Leading the company is Totò Navarra Junior, under thirty years old, with a degree in economics, winner of the “Under40 Forbes Italia Excellence” award presented to him during Vinitaly 2025, and an irrepressible passion for motorcycles and his land. His leadership is built on enthusiasm, expertise, and a desire to innovate. Every morning begins in the vineyard with his grandfather: they check the rows, observe the evolution of the vines, and make predictions about the harvest, discussing the pedoclimatic conditions. It then continues at the company, working alongside his father Salvatore Navarra on the management and commercial aspects of the business through strategic meetings and operational decisions. Totò Jr. has chosen a team of under-30s and selected consultants who assist him in wine and oil production, the development of the almond grove, and a rural hospitality project designed to let visitors experience the authenticity of the region.

“We are building a company that speaks of the future but does not forget where it comes from. Education,” continues Totò Jr., “is not only found in books. The real lesson is daily, in the field, alongside those who have always known the land. The harvest and winemaking that are about to begin,” concludes Totò Jr., “are the fruit of everything we are: my grandfather’s wisdom, my father’s vision, and the dream we are realizing together. This wine, as it has for several years now, will speak of us, of our history, and of our Sicily. And I want to be the bridge between what we were, what we are, and what we want to become.”

Salvatore Navarra, an attentive and forward-thinking entrepreneur, has brought a managerial culture to the company based on sustainability, innovation, and solid, productive business relationships. He is the “trait d’union” between his father’s pioneering vision and his son’s innovative drive. The company is a reflection of the values that sustain it: respect for the environment, consistency in choices, and the involvement of people. Sustainability is understood as a daily practice expressed through certified commitments (ISO, SI Rating ESG, organic), regenerative agriculture, and a narrative

that focuses on authenticity. Tenute Navarra has chosen to measure and communicate its impacts according to the 17 UN goals, because the future is built with responsibility. Thanks to his leadership, the company has begun an ESG reporting process, adhering to international SI Rating standards and UN sustainable development goals, in a logic of transparency and impact measurement.

“Our project has a soul and values: those of our family. Sustainability,” continues Salvatore Navarra, Business Relationship Manager of Tenute Navarra, “for us is consistency; it is a long-term vision. It is not just respect for the environment, but a financial, social, and cultural model that aims to return value to the territory and the people. Seeing my father and my son working side by side in the vineyard and on the lands of our Estates is the best example of what it means to do business with solid roots and with distant, defined horizons.”

Tenute Navarra is this: a contemporary agricultural enterprise where work becomes language, the land becomes culture, and wine returns to being, quite simply, an opportunity to meet.
