Sofien is the first white wine born from the Navarra family — and it carries the character of a beginning. The name is a tribute to Sofia and already tells a story about the wine: fresh, young, immediate, with a personality that does not need to impose itself to be remembered.
It is a white wine born from the meeting of two varieties differing in origin and character — the native Grillo and the international Chardonnay. Not a concession to international taste, but a genuine dialogue between two worlds that, in the glass, speak the same language.
Packaging: The 750 ml bottles are shipped in cardboard packaging.
Size: 750 ml

On the nose, it is fresh and fragrant, with aromas of white-fleshed fruit, delicate floral notes and a pleasant aromatic vibrancy that immediately invites a sip. On the palate, it is long and smooth, with good acidity and a clean, refreshing finish that leaves you wanting another sip.
The grapes used to produce Sofien are grown in Contrada San Giacomo, Butera, on different soils that reflect the wine’s dual character. Grillo takes root in medium-textured, predominantly loose soil with light-coloured clays, which retains moisture and helps the grape variety maintain its freshness even during the hottest summers. Chardonnay, on the other hand, grows in sandy soil with limestone deposits, offering better drainage and a mineral-rich environment that encourages deep root development, giving the wine aromatic vibrancy and natural acidity. Two soils, two distinct characters — finding balance and complementing each other in the blend.
6 months on the lees, followed by 2 months in bottle.
