Kinora takes its name from the Greek word kinesis — movement, energy, change. Made exclusively from Catarratto grapes, it offers a dynamic and straightforward interpretation of the variety, without unnecessary complexity.
A white wine designed to be enjoyed with ease, yet embodying all the character of an indigenous grape variety deeply rooted in Sicily’s agricultural tradition.
With Kinora, Tenute Navarra introduces a new expression to its wine range — immediate, vibrant and distinctive.
Packaging: 750 ml bottles are shipped in cardboard boxes.
Bottle size: 750 ml

On the nose, it is direct and fragrant, with ripe citrus fruits, white flowers and subtle hints of aromatic herbs unfolding naturally. On the palate, it is smooth, vibrant and lively, with a pleasant savoury minerality that never tires the palate and immediately invites another sip.
Kinora originates in Contrada Judeca, Butera, on medium-textured soil tending towards clay, with balanced alkalinity. This compact, mineral-rich soil retains the heat of summer days and gradually releases it during the night, encouraging slow, even ripening and well-defined aromas. The flat terrain, at an altitude of 350–400 metres above sea level, ensures a good diurnal temperature range, a key factor in preserving the freshness and aromatic vibrancy of Catarratto.
6 months on the lees, followed by 2 months in bottle.
