Tenute Navarra Presents its First Sustainability Report
For Tenute Navarra, sustainability has always been a multifaceted value that encompasses not only the environmental aspect, but also the social and governance aspects. The agricultural company in Butera, founded in 2019, aims to create a circular and virtuous economy, enhancing the Sicilian territory and social relationships through sustainable practices.
“It is with great enthusiasm that we share with our team, partners, and all stakeholders the vision and strategy for the future of Tenute Navarra, a company that represents not only an economic activity but a true family dream passed down through generations.”
With these words, Totò Navarra, Sole Director of Tenute Navarra, introduces the presentation of Tenute Navarra’s first Sustainability Report, a document that serves as the general and strategic guide for all company activities.
The topics addressed in the Sustainability Report and their respective GRI disclosures have been associated with the United Nations 2030 Agenda’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), defining how the company contributes to achieving the planned objectives.

To ensure active stakeholder involvement, a sustainability questionnaire was administered, allowing for a detailed mapping of ESG topics: Environmental, Social, and Governance.
The company boasts several certifications, including organic certification, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001, and uses the SI Rating to measure and monitor its impacts according to ESG criteria.
The Report also highlights the importance of “generated and distributed added value,” which represents the organization’s social impact.
This approach aligns with SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), ensuring sustainable practices throughout the supply chain.
Tenute Navarra adopts an integrated Environmental Management system, following HACCP protocol guidelines and ISO 14001 certification requirements, and monitoring company performance in terms of energy management, waste, and emissions. Reducing environmental impact is a priority in every company process.
The company places great emphasis on human resources, promoting diversity and inclusion with policies that ensure equal opportunities.
Furthermore, it is committed to ensuring the health and safety of workers across all its operational sites. Indeed, continuous training is an integral part of its strategy to develop human potential.
Tenute Navarra is also dedicated to social responsibility, supporting projects that foster the social, cultural, and athletic growth of local communities. Through targeted initiatives, it is a priority for the company to enhance the territory in which it operates.
